I'd love to claim the come-up all on my own but truth, is the idea was inspired by my amazing friends. After helping with their weddings, bridal showers, baby showers and every milestone in between, I realized how much joy I found in all the little details. My passion for elevating the look of any event with custom designs grew. Fast forward to this business starting to become real, I decided to seal the deal and buy my prized laser cutter and engraver.
Looking back, I always loved anything personalized growing up – backpacks, ornaments, clothing, you name it, my initials were on it. If only I knew then what my future would entail: creating one of a kind pieces for wonderful people.

Born and raised in Gloucester, a small island community on the east coast of Massachusetts. Growing up in a tight knit community built on small businesses I saw so many people working for themselves and their families by doing what they loved and I knew I wanted to own my own "something".
After a few wrong career paths and a business degree later, I finally found it: Brit Barry Design, a creative studio I could call my own. Now, I am engraving, painting and lettering anything I can get my hands on, and am so lucky to call this "something" my business.
